Frequently Asked Questions
What is Authentic Relating?
Authentic Relating is a modern set of interpersonal practices designed to help people communicate with more clarity, presence, and curiosity. It uses structured conversational “games” and guided prompts to help participants notice their own experience, express it honestly, and listen more deeply to others. The goal isn’t performance—it’s real connection, mutual understanding, and more flexible social intelligence.
Is this a movement, religion, or club?
No! Authentic Relating is for everyone. In fact, the more diverse the crowd, the more opportunity for growth.
Could you recommend relational tools resources I can use on my own for better connection?
Are you making money off of this?
These game nights are currently hosted in a public library and are free and open to the public. We host game nights so we can participate in them!
Are there AR groups in other cities?
Absolutely. Info here.
